I have a thing for April. It seems to be the most beautiful time of the year. And even though i am a girl of winter, April seems to make me feel new.

This month's mixtape is late, because i found it extremely hard to choose from my favorites of my Aprils past. I could make 12 different lists and still wonder if i left out something really loved. I am certain i did in this mixtape, but let's just say those are some of my music weaknesses. hopefully, if i continue this project, i will manage to post everything i love in several years. i am emotionally  connected to all the songs on this playlist, so it's more like re-living my memories. not just a simple mixtape.

another spring mixtape. bright in a strange way, and a bit dark like a day full of clouds in the middle of april. it's almost the end of the month. there have been holidays in it, it felt good being away for a while.  there has been one perfect night, one of the nights that define happiness in one's life.and there was great music in that night. so, some tunes i liked through these weeks to keep you company.

new month. a favorite one. i like the colors of spring. the air smells differently.the city grey seems compelling in early spring, almost refreshing. i believe i've come to love spring not for the sun or the flowers, but for the fact that its most wonderful days taste like winter.

Project: What Were You Listening To... [March] from asilverhomeghost on 8tracks.

This project has been in my head for quite a while now.

I've  been listening to several kinds of music for years, but it has been only for a few that i kept notes. So, once a month , i will be posting a mixtape of tunes i loved around that certain month of the year.Choices are endless and there is absolutely no relation between the release date of the songs and the month they are posted. They just stuck in my head around  March over the years and i keep going back to them in any given chance. There are countless alternatives to the ones below, but i think i have enough Marches at my disposal to post all my favorites..

i 've been around.. from asilverhomeghost on 8tracks.

I have left this blog on a hiatus for a bit more than two months. But I am back. I have been around, listening to music, loving melodies from around the web.

But I decided this return would be different. I will be making mixtapes from now on, probably on a weekly basis. There are many sounds I want to share and this way just makes it more beautiful for me. For my time and my life, at least.

It might get a bit more personal along the way. Or maybe more social than before. Happy, sorrowful, exciting or disappointing. And it may sound more like an invitation to anyone's who's reading, to sit back & enjoy the music as a whole. I am not exactly certain where it will end up.

But if you like the music, you are very welcome to stick around.
